Become an Ely Model Aircraft Club member and get:

  • Membership of our small and friendly model flying club
  • Access to our well maintained flying site where you can fly electric and IC aircraft (subject to flying times published in the Club Rules)
  • 10% discount on modelling materials (wood, wire, glues etc.) from Ely City Cycle Centre (on production of a Club membership card)

All members must also be in the BMFA. If you are not already a BMFA member, you can join directly or along with your club membership.

By becoming a member you agree to abide by the Club Rules.

Membership runs from 1 January to 31 December.

Flying Times

Electric:
Monday to Saturday - 10:00 to 20:00
Sundays and Bank Holidays - 10:00 to 18:00

I.C.
Wednesday - 10:00 to 18:00
Saturday - 10:00 to 14:00

Fees for 2024:

Annual Subscription - Senior £70
Annual Subscription - Student £35
Annual Subscription - Junior (U-16) £10
BMFA Annual Subscription Senior £49
BMFA Annual Subscription Junior (U-18) £20

If you join after 1 September you pay a 50% reduced subscription, and if you join in December you get the remainder of that year plus the following one (13 months for 12). BMFA subs are also reduced.

Rules of Entry

1. The club reserves the right to refuse membership.

2. As a BMFA affiliated club, all members are required to be BMFA members which can be arranged by the club on your behalf.

3. Membership for under 16s must be approved by a parent/guardian
